Read my previous post - Chee Cheong Fun
4th Attempts
It was 3 times in total - I re-visited this stall just for curry Chee Cheong Fun. Failed. My 4th attempt works without much expectation. I finally hunted down, just like hit the jackpot, I'm insane totally! Thanks for DC to bring the luck :-P
Thicky Feeling
Curry Chee Cheong Fun (CCF) definitely not the impression of having Chinese curry chicken version. Geez... using CCF to call it just like the destructive components CFC sounds, hate this :-P
Back to the point. It is more like having nyonya feeling! The CCF prepared in hot, you can see the steamy smoke come out. Then the "char siew" (roasted pork in dark soya sauce but dyed in red colour - safe one, no worry) and fried fish cake cut dance with CCF. The curry gravy showering the CCF with mint leaves to finalize before serves. Oh, mamamia! I visualize the thicky taste, my saliva system is definitely out of control!
You have an option to choose whether to put dried shrimp paste (dark colour). Without it paste, you can enjoy the fragant of pure coconut milk curry; With dried shrimp paste, you enjoy the sweetness and the fragant together. Double Bonus!
Eat the curry CCF is like having the most wonderful sensation with fullness. Can't believe? Try out yourself. I bluff you directly if I'm very serious. NO nonsense post :-)
Before ends this post - I fervently hope the stall owner Mr. Neoh will have a healthier body condition to continue cook this wonderful food! Take good care Mr. Neoh! :-)
